Welcome to Southeastern Wisconsin
We are the Suburban West Newcomers Club serving central Waukesha
County, outside Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The Newcomers club is a great way for new and existing residents of
the area to find out what our community has to offer, meet new people,
or participate in various social events. Most activities are geared
toward women but some couples events and many activities for small
children are also offered. You can get an idea what is going on by
looking at our current
newsletter (PDF format) or
calendar (PDF).
Most of our members are from the Brookfield and
Waukesha area with a few members from other surrounding
towns, such as Elm Grove, Menomonee Falls, New Berlin, and
Wauwatosa. The majority of members are in
their 30's but the range is from about late 20's
to late 40's. Since the majority of our members
are
families, we have quite a few activities geared
for small children (Kid's
Club) and a number of evening
events for parents to get out on their own.
We mail a
monthly
newsletter with all
of the upcoming events so you can plan on what you want
to attend. You can attend one event or
everything, its all up to you.
We keep members
up-to-date and
connected
between events
with an optional
e-mail member
list.
The group in non-profit but does have a nominal
membership fee.
The money goes toward newsletter printing and mailing and web
site hosting. Some activities may have additional fees to cover
materials or refreshments.
Contact us for further
information or to visit an event. We'll pair you up with someone
attending so you'll be sure to get acquainted.
